I am all about different and unique ways to deliver moments throughout your event. Coco Chanel said it best, "Don't be like the rest of them Darling!" #cocochanel We will be talking about the different and unique ways to execute those moments throughout your wedding! THE SEND OFF!


It is that special moment that is created at the end of the reception to send the #bride and #groom off to live their new life together. This can be done using sparkers, bubbles, rice, string lights, etc. Who doesn't want that #majestic sparkler photo??? One of the fears I often hear from my couples is what if there are not enough people left?? What if everyone leaves?? Well...I have a few responses here BUT let's discuss a unique way to create this majestic moment.⁣


MOVE IT!!! (Madagascar fans???) Let's face it! You are exhausted by the end of the night! You have been dancing your heart out and celebrating! Why not kick off the night with a sparkler grand entrance?? Yep...you can do that!


RIDDLE ME THIS...


Is there a rule book somewhere that says what order our unique #moments should be in??? SayπŸ‘ItπŸ‘withπŸ‘me...𝒩π’ͺ!!!!!! πŸ€œπŸ€› That's right!! We are mixing it up friend! ⁣Now, I might blow your mind with this one so stay with me...

Traditionally, when guests arrive to a wedding, they go straight to the ceremony location. They might drop off a card or gift at the gift table, wave to a long lost family member across the room and simply take their seat. As they are sitting there they are looking around at the beautiful landscape around them and taking it all in. What if we switched this up? I told you...🀯⁣

Let's have the cocktail hour 𝐡𝐸𝐹π’ͺ𝑅𝐸 𝓉𝒽𝑒 π’Έπ‘’π“‡π‘’π“‚π‘œπ“ƒπ“Ž! Your guests are mingling, talking to people they haven't seen in years! They are enjoying a beverage, the light music playing in the background and the company. They are admiring the scenery, the decor and speaking with great anticipation of the rest of the evening. "This is so different! I cannot wait to experience what is next!"

CEREMONY SEATING ARRANGEMENTS⁣

You know how it typically goes, right?? Rows of chairs for days! Sometimes the chairs are covered in fabric with pretty bows or wreaths hanging from them. Reserve signs on the first couple of rows for the family with flowing fabric and flowers on the ends of each row. Now, don't get me wrong friends...there is 𝒩π’ͺ𝒯𝐻𝐼𝒩𝒒 wrong with any of this! In fact, there are some venues who have set seating arrangements. For example, an outside ceremony space with benches already set for you. ⁣

What if...?⁣

What if we went crazy and rearranged the chairs?? We set them in a circle with a platform in the middle so your guests can have a 360* view of you and your love! Maybe we just take those straight rows and curve them a little! Perhaps your reception is outside with ample space to create a spiral of chairs. This is a 𝐻𝒰𝒒𝐸 opportunity to get 𝒸𝓇𝑒𝒢𝓉𝒾𝓋𝑒!!!

INVITING RECEPTION SEATING


Have you ever walked into your friends or family members living room or gathering space and felt so warm and invited? Like, you just want to stay there forever!! Maybe it was the color palette, the way the furniture was set up or the way the sunshine came through the windows. You felt comfortable and wanted. ⁣

#daretobedifferent I dare you to bring that into your reception!!! Beth Hunter over at Home Stories A to Z defines vignettes in the best way. "...in decorating, a vignette is a small grouping of objects that creates a pleasing focal point and β€œtells a story”. Y'all know how I feel about telling stories 😍⁣

Together, we can create small vignettes throughout the reception space using couches, loveseats, chairs, end tables and coffee tables. Y'all...warm, inviting and comfortable spaces for your guests to gather and celebrate YOUR story!! ⁣

Now, this can be done in many ways. For example, we can mix it up! Go on a journey with me here...two to three vignettes, a mix of round and rectangle tables plus a few high top cocktail tables. YOUR PERSONAL TOUCH


You have been living out your story for many years. You know it inside and out. There are so many people and details that make up your story. From the person who introduced you to each other, the place you got engaged, your hobbies, your pets, or certain family members that have helped shape who you are. Handwritten Notes

Y'all...this takes me way back. Handwritten notes is such lost art and I SO want to get it back. Just imagine...you sit down at your beautifully crafted table to celebrate two of your favorite people. Right in front of you is a small card address to you. It is a hand written note from the bride and groom thanking you for being there to celebrate their story. Give me a second to wipe the tear away...nothing short of a unique moment.


Tribute Bouquet/Gift

Who is the person that has been there for you through it all? They have helped shape you into the person you are today. They have walked with you through the joyous times and the most difficult times. They have held your hand since you were little and even to today. On one of the biggest days of your life, why not honor them? Maybe its a tribute bouquet or an engraved flask. There is nothing sweeter than honoring those that have contributed so much to who you are.


Fur Babies

This one gets me every time!! The adorable pet that means so much to you needs to be a part of your day. Period. But seriously, the dog that comes down the aisle with the rings...I mean. STOP IT!! And yes...maybe you don't have a dog. Maybe you have a cat or a fish or a bird...whatever your beloved pet is, let's make them a part of your day.
